The principle that I am willing to practice more is #5 which is prayer. You can never pray enought and ask God to help you get over your worries and stress. I am willing to pray more throughout the day because Lord knows I am at the peak of my stress level. The begining of the semester my stress level was at a zero. I had no worries or stress at all. I was working, going to school and enjoying life. Now, it is the end of the semester and I am currently unemployed, my workload at school is ridiculous and my relationship with my family is not quite like it was. Therefore, my stress level is at a record high of 11 on a 1-10 scale. I am trying to maintain my composure in a very stressful situation and this is why I choose the principle of prayer because everything else is completely out of my hands at this point.

 I absolutely think that my results reflect who I am. Some of my characteristics that I value are planned, common sense practicality, rules and task-focused behavior. The last conflict  I had, the person was very different according to the MBTI testing format. The person I had conflict with can be described as: following their personal insights and complex in brainstorming. The differences that make up our identities/personalities added to the conflict.

The structure of facebook is a normal formatted outline in web-based form that has tabs attached for organizational purposes. The content of the web site is personal that includes photos, hobbies and interests. The layout design of facebook is very plain with (2) basic colors: blue and white. The behavior of the site in the past was majority students that attend college or university networking. Recently, the behavior has turned into an everyday conversation between friends. The age group has increased drastically from when I intially created my account. Elements that I do enjoy are viewing my friends pictures. The number one thing I would change would be the language content used on facebook.

My favorite web-based service is facebook. I love this service because it is available anytime and I can always find long lost friends. I have currently been on facebook for 7 years, and that sounds like a very long time now that I think about it.  I enjoy it because of the versitility of the applications and access to upload pictures directly from your phone. It’s a great way to keep in contact with friends, family members and  great for networking. I probably spend about 30 minutes a day on facebook which is unfortunate: updating my status, looking threw pictures and reading wall posts. The time I spend on facebook could be studying time or perhaps nap time:). I love it either way, because of my friends that I don’t get to see often.

After presenting my powerpoint presentation last Monday, (3) things that I am most proud of was my eye-contact with the audience. Secondly, is my voice projection throughout the room. Lastly I believe that in the 5 minute time-frame, I did get my message to the audience which was reflectant of my powerpoint slides.

If I had to choose 1 thing to improve on in my presentation skills, it would be to slow down my speech while presenting.

This particular principle is the most important to me, and the element I personally need to work on the most. The relationship I need to strenghten is with a close relative. It is important to me because I love all of my family and anything to make us become closer is worth putting behind negative attitudes  and coming together. The action that I will make  will be to reach out and contact this relative and explain how I feel.

One tip for being organized is writing down the immediate goals, and long-term goals for the week. It’s a great tip because you can always go over the written material and track your progress.

After taking the time management quiz, my total was 58 from a scale of 46-75. My time management is very effective. The (1) thing I  do to manage my time is  writing down a to-do list that is posted on my refrigerator. I check it every day, and it includes my school and work schedule. It also includes the days I attend school and the homework that is due. I definitely could prioritize what needs to be done to help me become more effective with my tasks. And I do agree that time management keeps stress at a mininium.:)

The (2) minute introductions were fantastic! I really felt as if I learned something unique and special from everyone in the class. The presentation skills came easier to some than others, but that is why we should focus on gradually getting  better. There were common denominators in some cases and different personalities. We should definetly use more of those exercises to strenghthen presentation skills. I had tons of fun and can’t wait to present again. Some presentation skills I need to work on is defintely listening to the speaker, not only hearing the information being spoken. I think the different personalities will work well together because of the diverse characteristics in each individual.

Some of the opinions stated in the video were expressed from a standpoint of professionals in the workforce. Alot of communication skills that were discussed relate to my workplace experience. Communication and teamwork were the (2) most important characteristics to have. They were interested in problem-solving, describing the thought process on a given topic, and asking for feedback. This is similiar to me working at a restaraunt and having my managers give me feedback on things I can improve on. In the video, an employer from GOOGLE stated that organization makes as a great collaborator. Also, communication and presentation skills are required and essential for success in your career.
